Shirley Arlene Gill, 74, of Jackson died Friday, May 13, 2011, at Hunter Acres Caring Center in Sikeston, Mo.
She was born March 3, 1937, in Jackson, to Edmond M. and Emilia I. Meyr Haertling.
Shirley graduated from Jackson High School. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. Shirley had worked at Jackson Hosiery Mill and at LeeRowan in Jackson.
She is survived by a son, Carl E. Pulliam of Jackson; a daughter, Karen E. Andrea of Farmington, Mo.; two sisters, Elsie Siebert of Cape Girardeau, Ruby Eichorn of Chaffee, Mo.; three grandchildren, Morgan, Lori and Michelle; five great-grandchildren, Cody, Brandon, Loren, Travis and Audrey.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. at Russell Heights Cemetery, with the Rev. Wayne Krohe officiating.
