EAST PRAIRIE -- Funeral for Shirley Ann Eye of East Prairie will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie. The Rev. Bob Williams will officiate, with burial in Dogwood Cemetery.
Eye, 50, died Tuesday, Aug. 11, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born June 19, 1948, in Tennessee, daughter of A.J. and Annie Mae Melton Worthy.
Eye was employed by Jakel Corp., and was a member of First General Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Darrell Eye of St. Louis, Carl and Jeffrey Eye of Collinsville, Ill.; and her mother of East Prairie.
Also surviving are six brothers, Harold Worthy of Hickman, Ky., Richard Worthy of Washington, N.C., Rodger Worthy of Colorado Springs, Colo., Roy Worthy of Jackson, Jerry Worthy of Wappapello, Larry Worthy of Bertrand; six sisters, Patsy Conlin of Washington, N.C., Dorothy Russle of St. Louis, Eva Williams of St. Charles, Brenda Dozier of Sikeston, Joyce Wallace of Brunswick, Ga., and Mary Ditto of East Prairie.
She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers and a sister.
