Shirley Clubb

Shirley L. Clubb, 67, of Cape Girardeau, formerly of Thebes, Ill., died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at her home.

She was born March 19, 1941, in Rock Springs, Ill., daughter of George and Lucinda Henderson Pfister. She and Russell Clubb Jr. were married Oct. 3, 1959.

Survivors include her husband; a son, David Wayne (Theresa) Clubb of Thebes; a grandson, Dave Clubb Jr. of Tamms, Ill.; a granddaughter, Patricia Garnett of Fruitland; two sisters, Mary Ellen Kraus of Brookings, Ore., Sylvia Lowe of Cape Girardeau; seven great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Smithey officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.

Memorials may be made to Rose Hill Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
