Sherry S. Keith, 52, of Flower Mound, Texas, formerly of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007, at her home after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 4, 1955, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward "Eddie" and Peggy S. King Craft. She and Wayne Keith were married July 3, 1986, at Dallas, Texas.
Sherry was a 1972 Jackson High School graduate and later attended Gradwell College in St. Louis, where she received a diploma as a lab technician. She worked at the former Chaffee Hospital as a lab tech and attended New Bethel Baptist Church near Pocahontas. She moved to Texas in 1981, where she received a cosmetology license and worked as an office secretary for a multimedia company.
Loving survivors include her husband of 21 years; her mother, Peggy Craft of Jackson; a brother, Larry (Stephanie) Craft of Cape Girardeau; and four nieces, Jordan Wood, Cheyenne Petersen, Nora Craft and Lyla Craft.
She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Craft, on Sept. 9, 2005.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 28, 2007, at the funeral home, with the Rev. John Rhodes officiating. Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Pocahontas.
