PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Sheridan Prevallet, 71, of Perryville died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, Mo.

She was born Jan. 18, 1943, in St. Louis, daughter of Jesse and Thurn Meininger Kiefer. She and Dale Prevallet were married April 25, 1964. He survives in Perryville.

Sheridan worked as a finance officer at Miraculous Medal. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and St. Vincent Alumni Association Class of 1961.

Other survivors include three sons and a daughter, Craig (Yvonne) Prevallet of Katy, Texas, Brad (Robin) Prevallet of Haslet, Texas, Brian (Jane) Prevallet of Perryville and Kim (Chris) Hamlin of Kirkwood, Mo.; three sisters and two brothers, Geraldine Sutterer, Marlene Schremp, Richard Kiefer and Robert "Butch" Kiefer, all of Perryville, and LaDonna Klingner of St. Paul, Minn.; and eight grandchildren, Julian Prevallet, Gabriel Prevallet, Kelsey Cromwell, Dylan Prevallet, Jared Prevallet, Luke Hamlin, Andrew Hamlin and Jacob Hamlin.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She will then be taken to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church for service at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent de Paul or the American Heart Association.
