Sheila Harrison

MARBLE HILL, Mo. — Sheila Lynn Harrison, 46, of St. Louis died Sunday, July 13, 2008, in a traffic accident in Perryville, Mo.

She was born July 8, 1962, in Poplar Bluff, Mo., daughter of Leonard and Wilma Wilson Hendrix. She and Ronald F. Harrison were married Dec. 12, 1980, in Poplar Bluff.

Harrison was an oncology nurse at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff. She received a degree in nursing from Three Rivers Community College in 2007.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Rachel Harrison of St. Louis, Erica Harrison of Eureka, Calif.; her parents of Marble Hill; a brother, Michael Hendrix of Marble Hill; a sister, Melissa Goldsmith of Shawnee Mission, Kan.; and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Plainview Congregational Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ray Webb officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.
