SHAUN CARLILE

Shaun W. Carlile, 31, of Raleigh, N.C., died Friday, May 17, 1996, in Raleigh.

He was born July 31, 1964, at Bentwaters Air Force Base, England, son of Dianne Mullens Carlile. He and Laura Beth McNeely of Cape Girardeau were married Sept. 5, 1992.

A graduate of Central High School, he was an honor student and ran track. He was named Athlete of the Year and won the Lou Muegge Award during his senior year.

Carlile attended Southeast Missouri State University on an athletic scholarship, where he was a long distance runner. He received a bachelor of science degree at Southeast, and master's degree in business administration from St. Louis University.

He was an associate manager in marketing at Glaxo Pharmaceutical Co. in Raleigh.

Survivors include his wife, and his mother of Kirkwood.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Charles Dreyer officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Fruitland.
