Sharon Sterrett

Sharon Ann Elizabeth Cohan Sterrett, 60, of Cape Girardeau passed away peacefully at her home Saturday, Aug. 28, 2010.

She was born May 8, 1950, in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of Phillip W. and Agnes R. Jurko Cohan. She and Jack L. Sterrett were married July 3, 1971, in Cleveland.

Sharon was known by many and best friend to all.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; a daughter, Sarah Sterrett (Jason) Hadley of Columbia, Mo.; a son, Nicholas C. Sterrett of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren, Agnes and Milo Hadley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the church, with the Rev. David Hulshof officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
