Sharon Kay Slinkard, 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Friday, July 4, 2014, at her home.
Slinkard was born April 27, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to Weldon and Amelia Brucker Slinkard.
A graduate of Jackson High School in 1973, Slinkard worked at the former Del Farm grocery store, Procter & Gamble and the Dress Barn. Slinkard attended the Cowboy Church.
Survivors include: one son, Matthew Kyle Slinkard of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Jim and Barb Slinkard of Jackson; three sisters; Ruth Ann Hobeck of Jackson, Mary Lou Hanners of Jackson and Wanda (Donald) Stone of Friedheim, Missouri; and one sister-in-law, Edna Lee Slinkard of Jackson.
Slinkard was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, John Slinkard.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
