Sharon M. Cassout, 75, of Scott City passed away Friday, May 18, 2018, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 22, 1942, to the late Joseph C. and Venita Marie McAtee Wengert. She married Charles Ray �C.R.� Bud Cassout on Jan. 6, 1968. He preceded her in death Dec. 25, 1991.
She worked at the Lutheran Home for many years.
She is survived by a stepson, Duane Cassout of Monticello, Illinois; two sisters, Debi (Greg) Crawford of Cape Girardeau and Jo A. Hunze of Chesterfield, Missouri; two grandchildren; three nephews; and two nieces.
Sharon was preceded in death by three brothers, Larry, Dan and Kevin Wengert.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral service will be at noon Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Shupert officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery in Scott City.
