He was born April 1, 1978, at Chaffee, Mo., son of Timothy Halter and Glenda Emerson.

He was a member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, Mo.

Survivors include his father of Cape Girardeau; his mother of Scott City; and his paternal grandmother, Dorothy Halter of Oran.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. Parish prayers will be at 7 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Harth officiating. Burial will be in Guardian Angel Catholic Cemetery.
