SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Sevella Cummins, 85, of Scott City died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo. SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Sevella Cummins, 85, of Scott City died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2000, at Perry County Nursing Home in Perryville, Mo.

She was born Dec. 19, 1914, at Diehlstadt, Mo., daughter of Joel and Leona Carter Jennings. She and Albert "Lowell" Cummins were married April 17, 1936, at Fornfelt, Mo.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Scott City.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lee Cummins of Panama City Beach, Fla., Jerry and Pam Cummins of Scott City, and Bob and Gail Cummins of Jefferson City, Mo.; a daughter and son-in-law, Gail and David Crader of Perryville, Mo.; 11 grandchildren, Jo David and Rae Cummins, Keith and Jo Cummins, Jeri and Phillip Fluchel, Audra, Natasha and Tiffany Cummins, Shannon and Jeff Purvis, Landon and Spencer Cummins, Dawn and Lawrence Dauer, and Russ Crader; six great-grandchildren, Kassie Fluchel, Gage, Cade, Jenna, Devin and Ashley Cummins.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a grandson, Kirk Cummins; three brothers and five sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
