Funeral service for Senno Schilling of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel. The Rev. Barry Pfanstiel will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum, with military rites by VFW Post 3838.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Schilling, 76, died Sunday, Feb. 22, 1998, at Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born March 13, 1921, at Frohna, son of Frederick and Bertha Wunderlich Schilling. He and Hildegard Leimbach were married April 21, 1946, in Altenburg.
Schilling worked at Lonestar Industries 31 years. He was a member of Good Shepherd Chapel and Disabled American Veterans.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Larry Schilling of Fortville, Ind., Daryl Schilling of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Ruben Schilling of Arnold, Raymond Schilling of Uniontown; two sisters, Lorna Dreyer of Cape Girardeau, Dorsey Petzoldt of Altenburg; and a granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
