SIKESTON, Mo. -- Aaron "Scott" Tarrants, 43, of Sikeston died Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017, at his home.
He was born Dec. 12, 1974, in Dexter, Missouri, to Michael Denver Tarrants and Laura Ann Cagle Johnson.
He loved to hunt (especially doves) and to play darts. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Baseball Cardinals fan and enjoyed watching professional wrestling.
Scott was a very loving uncle and generous person who always had a smile on his face. He farmed with his best friends, Justin and Jason Landers, on the Landers Brothers Farm. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Sikeston.
Survivors include his mother, Laura Ann Johnson of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Mysti (Buck) Nunn of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Tony (Julie) Tarrants of Cape Girardeau; six nieces, Kaelie (Kyle) Myrick, Amber Nunn, Hayley Staggs, Kaitlyn Staggs, Karley Thomas and Madison Thomas; a nephew, Zachary Nunn; a great-niece, Mattie McCree; and a great-nephew, Kamden Myrick.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating.
Burial will be at Matthews Cemetery in Matthews, Missouri.
