ESSEX, Mo. -- A. Scott Parker, 29, of Essex died Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2000, as a result of an automobile accident near Grayridge, Mo.

He was born Dec. 28, 1970, in Rockford, Ill., son of Kenneth and Sheila Lankford Parker.

Parker had lived in Essex most of his life.

Survivors include his mother, Sheila Hester of Essex; his father of Rockford; a brother, Michael Cannon of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Donna Cannon of Essex, Tammy Sanders of Laguna Beach, Calif., and Lorie McClung of Sikeston, Mo.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Mo., from 5-8 p.m. today.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Essex Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Brown officiating.
