FROHNA -- Scott J. Vogel, 27 years old, of Frohna, died Saturday, March 30, 1991, as the result of a fire at his home.
He was born Feb. 25, 1964 in Perry County, son of Edwin and Vera Petzoldt Vogel, who both survive of Frohna.
He was a student at Southeast Missouri State University.
He previously worked at West End, a grocery store and tavern at Frohna.
Surviving, besides his parents, are two brothers, Charles Vogel, St. Louis, and Mark Vogel, Pocahontas; and two sisters, Brenda Musser, Etiwanda, Calif., and Sarah Ruessler, Perryville.
He was a Frohna city alderman, and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church and choir, and an organist for the choir at Frohna.
He was also a member of the Frohna Fire Department and the East Perry Jaycees.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Chapel at Altenburg after 4:30 p.m. today and until 8 a.m. Monday when the body will be taken to Concordia Lutheran Church at Frohna.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the church with the Rev. Luther Herman officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
