MINNEAPOLIS -- Saundra Jean Beal, 74, formerly of Jackson, passed away peacefully Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2015, at her home.
She was born July 25, 1941, in Jackson, to Festus and Betty Lewis Beal.
Survivors include a caring sister, Marilyn Swan of Minneapolis; a nephew, William Swan Jr. of Minneapolis; two nieces, Kimberly (Kevin) Harris of Kansas City, Missouri, and Cassandra (Jeff) Robinson of Minneapolis; three great-nieces, Kaari Swan of Columbus, Ohio, and Jassandra and Jaila Robinson of Minneapolis; and a great-nephew, Jeffrey Robinson II of Minneapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an aunt, Albertine Lawler; and a nephew, Todd Swan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Howard McGee officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Peter's AME Church in Minneapolis or the Alzheimer's Association MN-ND Chapter.
