Sarah Dietiker Hager, 83, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, April 4, 1996, at her home.
She was born May 26, 1912, in Fredericktown, daughter of Louis Henry and Lucy Bell Sullivan Pippin. She and John Dietiker were married Nov. 11, 1931, at Benton. He preceded her in death. She later married Henry Hager Dec. 5, 1958, at Marble Hill. He also preceded her in death.
Hager had lived in Cape Girardeau since 1940, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include five sons, John, Frank and Mike Dietiker of Cape Girardeau, Roy Lee Dietiker of Independence, James Dietiker of Chicago; four daughters, Betty Dietiker and Shirley Hutchason of Cape Girardeau, Janet Amelunke of Jackson, Teresa Elkins of Scott City; two sisters, Ruth Roe and Hazel Pippin of Cape Girardeau; 23 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, brother, two sisters and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. S.S. Borum officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
