SANDRA D. TURNER

ANNA, Ill. -- Sandra Darlene Turner, 48, Anna Route 2, died Thursday, Sept. 28, 1995, at the home of her mother here.

She was born Jan. 15, 1947, in Anna, daughter of William Deke and Helen Fuller Arnold. She and Frederick Lee "Ted" Turner were married June 30, 1978. He died Aug. 22, 1993.

Turner owned and operated Dixie Cream Donut Shop. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Charlene Horton; a son, Tim Glasco; her mother, Helen Sanders, all of Anna; six stepdaughters, Marilyn Smith of Cobden, Ruthie Fisher of Lebanon, Tenn., Debbie Turner of Cobden, Diane Melcher of Del Rio, Texas, Lisa Benson of Carterville, Becky Turner of Christopher; three sisters, Connie King of Vandalia, Vicky Arnold of Carmi, Cathy Evans of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, and nine stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Casper Cemetery.
