PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Sadie I. Weibrecht, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at PerryOaks Manor. She was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Ezra and Bessie Penny Abernathy. She and Elmo Weibrecht were married Sept. 17, 1938. He died March 15, 1966...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Sadie I. Weibrecht, 77, of Perryville died Monday, Jan. 29, 2001, at PerryOaks Manor.

She was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Ezra and Bessie Penny Abernathy. She and Elmo Weibrecht were married Sept. 17, 1938. He died March 15, 1966.

Weibrecht was a member of St. James Catholic Church at Crosstown, Mo.

Survivors include three sons, Robert Weibrecht of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., Roger Weibrecht of Tucson, Ariz., Donald Weibrecht of Perryville; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30-9:15 a.m. Thursday.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. James Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
