CHARLESTON -- Ruth Wilson, 95, of Charleston, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1991, at Charleston Manor.
She was born Oct. 22, 1896 in Mattoon, Ill., to Samuel and Anna Smith McCleary.
She had lived in Charleston for most of her life and attended the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On Aug. 15, 1922, she married the Rev. William D. Wilson. He died on Jan. 3, 1984.
Also preceding her in death were one son, one daughter, one grandson, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Albert Wilson of Greenup, Ill., and Edward Wilson of Lakewood, Calif.; three daughters, Esther Houser and Loretta Husketh, both of Charleston, and Mary Seagraves of St. Louis; 24 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 5:30 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond Hannah officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
