ULLIN, Ill. - Ruth S. Garden, 69, of Ullin, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 1992 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 11, 1923 at Cairo, Ill. to Earl and Veniva Murley Sitton. Survivors include five sons, Richard A. Slusher of Sandwich, Ill., Jackie Slusher of Peoria, Ill., Gary Slusher of Dongola, Ill., and Earl Slusher and Tony Slusher, both of Ullin; one daughter, Tina Venatta of Ullin; two brothers, Dean Sitton of Kansas and Earl Sitton of California; one sister, Glenda Miller of Benton, Ill.; 13 grandchildren also survive.. ...

Garden attended the First Baptist Church of Ullin, and was an RSVP volunteer at Smiles II in Ullin.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.
