Ruth Ogden, 59, of Plantation, Fla., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, in Plantation.
She was born June 4, 1947, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., daughter of Jack and Jenny Dannenberg Vanaman. She and William Ogden were married March 2, 1985, in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
She was a former member of Lynwood Baptist Church, and was a longtime hairstylist in Cape Girardeau before moving to Florida.
Survivors include her husband, William Ogden of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Kelly Cargle of Cape Girardeau, Jill Morales of Salem, Mo.; two stepsons, Keith and Kris Ogden of state of North Carolina; a sister, Linda Vanaman of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 2:30 p.m. to service time at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home Sunday.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Schaffner officiating.
