MCCLURE, Ill. -- Ruth Miller, 83, of McClure, formerly of Olive Branch, died Thursday, April 25, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 6, 1912, in Illinois, daughter of Fred and Oma Abernathie Monroe.
Miller had been a cook at Egyptian School.
Survivors include two daughters, Naomi Farris of Olive Branch, Rita Duncan of Charleston, Mo.; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Bill Bowen officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery.
