Ruth Frenzel

PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Ruth E. Frenzel, 86, of Las Vegas, formerly of Perryville, died Sunday, June 15, 2008, in Las Vegas.

She was born July 25, 1922, at Kennett, Mo., daughter of James and Bertha Holder. She and Paul Frenzel were married April 25, 1939. He died June 25, 1984.

Frenzel had worked in the kitchen at Ann Patterson Nursing Home (Perry Oaks). She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sons, John Frenzel of Sheridan, Ark., Kenneth Frenzel of Kopperl, Texas; two daughters, Sharon Howard of Las Vegas, Judith Gremaud of Perryville; two sisters, Pat Williams of Joshua Tree, Calif., Juanita Bragg of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ronald Holder of Bridgeton, Mo.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by twin brothers.

Visitation will be from noon to service time Saturday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Deacon John Darin officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
