RUTH FREEMAN

CHAFFEE -- Ruth Marvolin Freeman, 75, of Chaffee, died Friday, July 26, 1996, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born July 22, 1921, at Sikeston, daughter of William Gaines and Mary Demetrius Black Freeman.

Freeman had been a secretary at Ann's Insurance and at Florsheim Shoe Co. in Chaffee. She was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include a sister, Opal Holder of Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Gray officiating. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
