Ruth Francis

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ruth Robins Francis, 92, of Advance, was born Aug. 9, 1919, at Millersville, the daughter of Charlie and Cora Turner Robins, and passed away Feb. 10, 2012, at Fresenius Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the First General Baptist Church of Advance.

Ruth and Lloyd Francis were united in marriage March 24, 1938, at Marble Hill, and he preceded her in death Oct. 26, 2011.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Donna Francis of Chaffee; a brother, Charles D. Robins of Advance; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Mike Grant officiating and the Rev. Wayne Page assisting. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
