ANNA, Ill. -- Ruth Dollar, 85, of Anna died Sunday Jan. 5, 1997, at Union County Hospital in Anna.

She was born May 18, 1911, in Jonesboro, Ill., daughter of H.C. and Fannie Amanda Ellis Grear. She was a member of the Mount Moriah Lutheran Church in Anna.

She is survived by five nieces, Sharon Gilbert of Ridgetop, Tenn., Jean Warren of Frankfort, Ind., Alice Keller of Makanda, Beth Pearl of Bend, Ore., and Donna Edwards of Newberg, Ind.; and a nephew, James Grear of Watervist, Mich..

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 tonight at Crain Funeral Home in Anna. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Hertenstein officiating. Burial will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery.
