BERTRAND -- Ruth B. Adams, 82, Bertrand Route 1, died Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Marion, Ill., daughter of John and Bertha Bisson Palmer. She and Donald Harry Adams were married June 6, 1941. He died Dec. 21, 1991...

BERTRAND -- Ruth B. Adams, 82, Bertrand Route 1, died Tuesday, March 22, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Marion, Ill., daughter of John and Bertha Bisson Palmer. She and Donald Harry Adams were married June 6, 1941. He died Dec. 21, 1991.

Adams had lived in Charleston since 1951, and was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Philip Adams of Springfield, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Friends may call at McMikel Funeral Home in Charleston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Combs officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery near Charleston.
