RUTH ANN SCHLICHTING

FROHNA -- Ruth Ann Schlichting, 83, of Frohna died Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Oct. 12, 1913, in Brazeau, daughter of James and Lillian Byrd Barber. She was a homemaker and member of the Concordia Lutheran Church in Frohna.

She is survived by two sons, John Schlichting of Perryville and Charles Schlichting of Frohna; three daughters, Sharon Miranda of Washington, Ruth Ann Ervin of Advance, and Michelle Ketchem of Martons Gap, Ky.; one sister, Doris Rhodes of Perryville; 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter and one granddaughter.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from 6:30 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at Young and Sons East Perry Chapel in Altenburg. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel with the Rev. Luther Herman officiating. Burial will be in Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Frohna.
