McCLURE, Ill. -- Russell Dale Hill, 68, of McClure died of natural causes Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, at his home.

He was born May 21, 1943, in Cape Girardeau, to Russell Miles and Marjorie Ellen Westerwelle Hill.

Russell served in the U.S. Air Force four years, including a tour in Vietnam.

He graduated from Shawnee High School in Wolf Lake, Ill., in 1961 and was a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University.

Survivors include his mother, Marjorie Hill of McClure; three daughters, Sarah Hill of Winnipeg, Canada, Leah Elizabeth Ann Hill of St. Louis, Molly Lauren Ford of Carbondale, Ill.; and a sister, Mary Ellen Morgan (Randy) of McClure.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell Miles Hill.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses of South Cape, with Tom Kelsey officiating.

Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
