ST. MARYS - Rudolph Steven Hlavek of St. Marys died Friday, Dec. 7, 1990, at Ste. Genevieve Hospital. He was 77 years old.

He was born Sept. 13, 1913, in East St. Louis, Ill., son of George and Anna Kalish Hlavek. On March 1, 1945, he married Mary E. Erdelen.

Hlavek was a meatcutter.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Hlavek of Perryville; a daughter, Mary Carbone of St. Louis; four sisters, Mary Konecnik, Mildred Riethmann, Anne Keferauskif and Julia Yovandich, addresses unknown, and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 3 to 8 p.m. today. A wake service will be held at 7.

Burial will be private.
