RUBY ZIMMERMAN

Ruby M. Zimmerman, 90, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 11, 1998, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 19, 1908, in Bollinger County, daughter of Oscar and Julia Celestine Dennis Loyd. She and Charles Zimmerman were married June 3, 1946, in Arkansas. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church for 71 years, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include three sisters, Lillie Loyd Davis of Nashville, Tenn., Mildred Jones of St. Louis and Evelyn Strauser of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 Tuesday.

Funeral will be at 10:30 Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Don Stephens will officiate with burial at Bollinger County Memorial Park in Marble Hill.
