COBDEN -- Funeral for Ruby Mae Wright of Cobden will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Immanuel Baptist Church. The Revs. Kenneth Mixen and Ken Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 5 p.m. today, and Thursday after 10 a.m. at Immanuel Church.
Wright, 87, died Monday, Oct. 11, 1999, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
She was born Sept. 10, 1912, in Alto Pass, daughter of James S. and Martha Roach Harrell. She and Lawrence F. Wright were married Oct. 12, 1935, in Murphysboro. He died Dec. 2, 1954.
Wright was a member of Immanuel Church.
Survivors include four daughters, Evelyn Hileman of Anna, Kathie Lipe of Effie, La., Doris Hileman of Cobden, Judy Schlenker of Buncombe; two sons, Gary and Roger Wright of Cobden.
Also surviving is a sister, Tempa Reed of Mt. Vernon; a brother, Raymond Harrell of Mt. Vernon; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, two sons, two brothers, two sisters, and a great-granddaughter.
