MORLEY -- Ruby Tillman Tolbert, 72, of Morley died Saturday, Feb. 6, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 8, 1926, at Advance to James Henry Cohen and Florence Cooper Cohen.
She married Roy Tillman in October 1950 at Corinth, Miss.
She later married Kelly C. Tolbert on March 17, 1972, at Chaffee. He died Oct. 8, 1994.
She was a member of Trinity Chapel Church in Sikeston.
Survivors include three sons, Edward Lee Tillman of Farmington, Earl Allen Tillman of Arlington, Va., and Rodger Dale Tillman of Sikeston; a daughter, Ruth Crowley of Sikeston; two stepsons, the Rev. John Tolbert of Advance and Bobby Tillman of Graves, Ky.; four stepdaughters, Jean Stayton of Jackson, Tenn., Ann Tolbert and Grace McCann, both of Sikeston, and Mary Elizabeth Banks of Crowder; three brothers, John Cohen and Benny Cohen, both of Sikeston, and Francis Cohen of East Prairie; two sisters, Betty Hobson of Broadview, Ill., and Bea Dalanis of Wilmington, Ill.; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A stepson preceded her in death.
Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home, with Bishop Thomas J. Morris officiating. Burial will follow in New Morley Cemetery.
