Ruby Kathryn Rogers Lincoln McKenzie, 87, of Eldon, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born Aug. 9, 1918, in Moscow, Ky., daughter of the Rev. J.L. and Mary Rogers. She and Claude C. Lincoln were married March 9, 1937. He preceded her in death in February 1975. She and William B. McKenzie were married Jan. 19, 1976. He preceded her in death in March 1990...

Ruby Kathryn Rogers Lincoln McKenzie, 87, of Eldon, Mo., died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab.

She was born Aug. 9, 1918, in Moscow, Ky., daughter of the Rev. J.L. and Mary Rogers. She and Claude C. Lincoln were married March 9, 1937. He preceded her in death in February 1975. She and William B. McKenzie were married Jan. 19, 1976. He preceded her in death in March 1990.

Mrs. McKenzie was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.

Survivors include two sons, Don Lincoln and wife June of Dexter, Mo., James Lincoln and wife Judy of Eldon; two daughters, Brenda Miller and husband Glenn of Stover, Mo., Nelda Dasal and husband Pickett of Eldon; a brother, Ray Rogers and wife Ann of Sarasota, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and David Rogers, and five sisters, Mary Alice Bell, Juanita Ratliff, Nell Frances McNeely, Jeanette Johnson and Robbie Fay Rogers.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon today at First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the church, with the Revs. Martha Tennison and James Hedrick officiating.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

Arrangements are under the direction of Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
