Memorial service for Ruby M. Damon of Lady Lake, Fla., formerly of Cape Girardeau, was held Friday at Chapel of All Faiths, the Villages of Lady Lake. The Rev. Arthur I. Harris officiated, with Page-Theus-Blanchard Funeral Home in Leesburg, Fla., in charge of arrangements.
Damon, 69, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 1993, at Leesburg Regional Medical Center in Leesburg.
She was born in McClure, Ill., daughter of Irvin and Eva Mosby. She moved to Florida in 1987 from Cape Girardeau.
Damon served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include her husband, retired Col. Clayton E. Damon; a daughter, Teresa Currier of Henniker, N.H.; a son, Senior Chief Petty Officer Andrew C. Damon of Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; two brothers, Richard Mosby of McClure, Claude Mosby of Anna, Ill., and two grandchildren.
