RUBY L. DOCKUM

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Ruby L. Bright Dockum, 73, of Urbana, formerly of Union County, died Sunday, March 12, 1995, at Pekin Hospital in Pekin.

She married Dorris Bright June 19, 1935, who died June 2, 1971. She later married Sherman Dockum March 10, 1976, who died in August 1987.

Dockum was employed by Elsner Grocery, and later was a meatcutter for Miller Meat. She was a member of Judson Chapel in Urbana.

Survivors include a son, Doyle Bright of White Heath; three daughters, Marie Burgess of Benton, Ky., Evelyn Brooks of Rantoul, Valerie Sitton of Urbana; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
