ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Ruby Mary Duskey of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Brent Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
Duskey, 88, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, at her home.
She was born Nov. 4, 1911, at Wolf Lake, Ill., daughter of William and Rose Youngkin Lacy. She and Alva Duskey were married Jan. 10, 1931, in Jonesboro, Ill. He died Oct. 2, 1971.
Duskey retired from the dietary department at Choate Mental Health and Development Center. She was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church near Jonesboro, Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post 3455, and Farm Bureau.
Survivors include a son, Mike Duskey of Jonesboro; a daughter, Marilyn Patterson of Cobden, Ill.; a sister, Abbie Snyder of Anna; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
