Ruby Cracraft, 91, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 5, 2001, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Mo.
She was born Aug. 30, 1910, in Greenbrier, Mo., daughter of George W. and Mary Jane Shell Shields. She first married Clifford Vaughn, who preceded her in death. She then married Glenn Cracraft, who also preceded her in death. She and Robert H. Allen were married Dec. 8, 1992, at Chaffee.
Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church and Naomi Sunday School Class, Eastern Star, and White Shrine.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Donald E. Vaughn of Houston, Texas; a grandchild, Donald "Sonny" Vaughn of Houston; a stepgrandchild, Mike Goff of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; and two great-grandchildren, Cliff Vaughn and Haley Vaughn of Houston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, five brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home from 5-7 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jay White officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
