SIKESTON -- Ruby Bridger, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Sept. 30, 1913, at Poe, daughter of Wiley and Clara Stewart. She and Thomas C. Bridger were married Jan. 7, 1933. He died Feb. 1, 1994...

SIKESTON -- Ruby Bridger, 85, of Sikeston died Friday, April 16, 1999, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 30, 1913, at Poe, daughter of Wiley and Clara Stewart. She and Thomas C. Bridger were married Jan. 7, 1933. He died Feb. 1, 1994.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth and Clive Bridger of Sikeston; two daughters, Alice Moore and Maurine Towe of Sikeston; two sisters, Hazel Royal of Sikeston, Bonnie Cole of Farmington; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. David Craig officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
