JACKSON, Mo. -- Ruby Elaine Beattie, 81, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 30, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of Wiley W. and Jeanette Caroline Davis Webb. She and Albert LeRoy Beattie were married Aug. 11, 1938. He died May 26, 1993...

JACKSON, Mo. -- Ruby Elaine Beattie, 81, of Jackson died Wednesday, May 15, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 30, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of Wiley W. and Jeanette Caroline Davis Webb. She and Albert LeRoy Beattie were married Aug. 11, 1938. He died May 26, 1993.

Beattie had been a volunteer at St. Francis Medical Center since 1985. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and its Lear Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane Tidd of Jackson, Gloria Friedrich of Cape Girardeau; and two grandchildren.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Grant F.C. Gillard officiating. Entombment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
