Ruby A. Arsta, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, July 4, 1998, at Heartland Care Rehabilitation Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 23, 1909, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of Raymond and Beulah Crites Adams. She was married to Marvin Arsta, who preceded her in death.
She was the head nurse at St. Francis Hospital surgical section and at Southeast Missouri Hospital surgical section. She was a member of the American Nursing Association.
She was a member and past president of the VFW ladies' auxiliary and a member of the Eagles.
Survivors include a stepson, Charlie Lee Arsta of Columbia, 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. John Goff will officiate, with burial in the Morgan Cemetery in Advance.
