KARNAK, Ill. -- Funeral for Roy "Tony" Miller of Karnak will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Wilson Funeral Home. The Revs. Gary McClellan and Ken Sharp will officiate. Burial will be in Massac Memorial Gardens at Metropolis, Ill.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today.

Miller, 88, died Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

He was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Wetaug, Ill., son of Robert R. and Jane Albright Miller. He married the former Edith Marie Henry.

Miller was a mechanic at Ray Woods Chevrolet and at Curtis and Erik Cummins Chevrolet Co. He also worked in the city of Karnak water and gas department. He attended First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Leroy Miller of Karnak; two granddaughters; four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
