Roy L. Hutchason, 64, of Rt. 1 Box 333, Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. He was born Nov. 9, 1928, at Sikeston, son of Clarence A. and Bertha Bell Brown Hutchason. He married Shirley Dietiker in 1962. Hutchason worked as a truck driver with Florsheim Shoe for 16 years...

Roy L. Hutchason, 64, of Rt. 1 Box 333, Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Sept. 11, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

He was born Nov. 9, 1928, at Sikeston, son of Clarence A. and Bertha Bell Brown Hutchason.

He married Shirley Dietiker in 1962.

Hutchason worked as a truck driver with Florsheim Shoe for 16 years.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and the Marine Corps.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Ronald A. Hutchason of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Kathy L. Hutchason of Cape Girardeau; two step-daughters, Teresa Elkins of Scott City, Cindy Carter of Japan; four brothers, Paul Hutchason of Hayfork, Calif., Bill Hutchason of Knoshia, Wis., Ted Hutchason of East Prairie, Mo., Frank Hutchason of Fulton, Mo.; three sisters, Jane Carter of Sikeston, Mackie Seagraves and Sue Shadwell, both of Wappapello, Mo.; and three grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Kendall Hicks officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
