ROY EARL HESS

CHAFFEE Roy Earl Hess, 67, of Delta, Mo., died Monday, Aug. 16, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 21, 1926, at Painton, Mo., son of Roy Clifton and Nannie Irene Jones Hess.

He married Aline Marie Baker, May 17, 1946, at Benton.

Hess owned and operated Hess Service Station in Delta, Mo. He retired in 1986.

He was a member of the Randles Baptist Church in Randles, Mo.

Survivors include his mother of Advance; his wife; a son, Doug Hess of Delta, Mo.; two daughters, Pat Ragland of Cape Girardeau, Virginia Robertson of Chaffee; a brother, Louis Hess of Advance; a half-brother, Floyd Davis of Advance; four half-sisters, June Crinshaw of Advance, Winona Kamp of Jackson, Grace Davis of Advance, Dorothy Dannenmueller of Chaffee; six grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, with the Rev. Larry Stephenson officiating.

Burial will follow in Williams Cemetery at Perkins, Mo.
