SIKESTON, Mo. -- Roy G. Colliflower, 101, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2003, at Miner Nursing Center.
He was born Oct. 5, 1902, in Hutsonville, Ill., son of John S. and Eliza Johnson Colliflower. He and Lillian V. "Tinch" Michael were married Sept. 16, 1934, at Commerce, Mo. She died June 20, 1998.
Colliflower was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of Bertrand Baptist Church, Bertrand Lion's Club, and served on the Diehlstadt School Board several years.
Survivors include a daughter, Beverly Rolwing of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
