ROY A. MCCLARD

JACKSON -- Roy A. McClard, 77, of Jackson, died Monday, June 24, 1991, at Jackson Manor. He was born May 30, 1914, at Pocahontas, son of Albert and Ora Unger McClard. He and O'Dean W. Craft were married Dec. 9, 1939. She died Jan. 9, 1990. McClard was a machinist at a tool and die shop in Rockford, Ill., many years. He was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church here...

JACKSON -- Roy A. McClard, 77, of Jackson, died Monday, June 24, 1991, at Jackson Manor.

He was born May 30, 1914, at Pocahontas, son of Albert and Ora Unger McClard. He and O'Dean W. Craft were married Dec. 9, 1939. She died Jan. 9, 1990.

McClard was a machinist at a tool and die shop in Rockford, Ill., many years. He was a member of Shawnee Hills Baptist Church here.

Survivors include two brothers, John McClard of Blodgett, Elbert McClard of Millersville, and a sister, Lena Farrow of West Alton.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Raymond Epps will officiate, with burial in New Bethel Cemetery near Pocahontas.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
