MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Roxie L. Butler, 77, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1930, in Borden Springs, Ala., daughter of Joseph and Emma E. Gilley Knott. She and Emmett Dean Butler were married in 1946 and he died July 3, 1981.
Butler was a member of the Cottage of Grace General Baptist Church and had been a factory worker for several years.
Survivors include a son, Eddie Dean Butler of Shabbona, Ill.; three daughters, Patty Bostic and Diane Chorba, both of Marble Hill, and Barbara Click of Capron, Ill.; a sister, Martha Hudgins of Tampa, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and seven sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gene Robins officiating.
Burial will be in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
