OLIVE BRANCH, Ill. -- Naoma Roslyn Farris, 75, of rural Olive Branch died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at her home.
She was born Aug. 25, 1929, in Alexander County, Ill., daughter of Curtis and Ruth Hargis Winchester.
She was a hairdresser for 42 years, owning and operating Naoma Beauty Shop in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Howard "Tommy" Farris Jr., of Thebes, Ill.; three daughters, Sharon Smith and Marie Ford, both of Thebes, and Renae Farris of Columbia, Mo.; a sister, Rita Duncan of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Howard Farris Sr., and by a great-grandson.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Jones Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill. Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Carl D. Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge, Ill.
